8 channels / 96 channels 1 µL - 1000 µL pipetting range Hamilton/Beckman Core Technology UV + HEPA double protection

System overview

HST-Prep Automated Liquid Handling WorkstationIt is a precision automated workbench specially designed for high-throughput sequencing (NGS) library construction, target capture, and various molecular biology separation experiments. By integrating a high-precision syringe pump and a multi-degree-of-freedom pipetting robot, the system achieves high-precision distribution and transfer of trace amounts of liquids from 1 µL to 1000 µL, completely replacing traditional tedious and error-prone manual pipetting operations.

Core advantages: Highly integrated and anti-pollution design

HST-Prep has a flexible SBS layout with multiple plate positions. It integrates a Peltier temperature control module, a microplate shaker, a magnetic separation rack and a built-in PCR thermal cycler (On-deck Thermocycler) on the board to support the continuous and automatic library construction process of "sample in, library out". The equipment shell adopts a closed safety physical shield, and is equipped with a high-efficiency HEPA air laminar flow system and an automatic UV sterilization module to effectively prevent aerosol and microbial contamination and ensure the high purity and stability of clinical and R&D libraries.

Frontiers in Bioengineering IF: 5.7 Application platform: HST-Prep liquid workstation
Establishment and performance testing of a fully automated library construction system for high-throughput clinical tumor gene detection
Research background: Clinical tumor genetic testing centers are faced with the demand for database construction of hundreds of samples every day. Manual database construction is labor-intensive, easy to contaminate, and has uneven quality.
project approach: Deploy the HST-Prep automated liquid processing workstation and write a one-click large-panel tumor library construction program. After scanning the code of the sample tube, it can be started and run with one click, achieving concurrent library construction of 96 samples.
Research results: Compared with manual library construction, HST-Prep shortens hands-on time by more than 90% (from 5 hours to 15 minutes), and increases the library qualification rate from 92% to 99.5%, eliminating any cross-aerosol contamination and fully complying with clinical standards.

Ordering Selection and Workstation Configuration Guide

1. Flexible scientific research type (8 channels): Equipped with a 1/8-channel variable pitch pipetting head, it is suitable for laboratories with small sample volumes but frequent changes in experimental plans. It supports flexible dispensing in small-volume tubes and standard 96-well plates.

2. Ultra-high-throughput production type (96 channels): Equipped with 96 fixed-channel pipetting heads, on-board integrated PCR thermal cycler and 24 plate positions, it is especially suitable for large diagnostic centers and cohort projects with a daily testing volume of more than 100+.

3. Customized configuration for clinical delivery: Pre-passed GMP level factory verification, integrated HEPA safety dust cover and code scanning verification system. Includes 21 CFR Part 11 compliance audit trail activation key for software.

Full-process LIMS linkage Barcode / 2D cryovial scanning Real-time liquid level sensing and anti-blocking 100% audit trail and logs

System overview

LIMS intelligent control systemIt is the central brain of high-throughput molecular laboratory operations. This system breaks the "equipment island" and realizes the full life cycle traceability and intelligent logistics scheduling from receiving original sample tubes, nucleic acid extraction, concentration quality control (QC), automated library construction, to the final loading of sequencing chips on the computer.

Fully automated correlation and compliance audit trail

Before each automated library construction run, the onboard 2D code scanning module performs real-time inventory verification of sample tubes and reagent barcodes, and the system automatically locks the correspondence between sample numbers, consumable batch numbers, and experimental plans (SOPs). Data such as temperature logs, tip consumption, and quality inspection readings generated during operation are automatically generated into electronic experimental reports, which are synchronized to the LIMS database in real time via API, supporting multi-person online review, and fully complying with the strict review standards of GMP and CAP/CLIA laboratories on the anti-tampering of original records.

system module Function description
Sample registration and tracking Supports batch reading and verification of barcodes/2D cryotubes, and automatically generates global unique UID and circulation topology
Workstation Interconnect API Seamless linkage with HST-Prep, T-Series and other devices to deliver SOP parameters in real time and recover operation logs
Electronic experiment report Automatically integrate extraction concentration, QC readings and sequencing quality control, with multi-person online multi-level approval electronic signatures
Compliance and Audit 100% lab operation audit trails and logs are tamper-proof and fully compliant with GMP and CAP/CLIA requirements
Deployment form Local server deployment (On-Premises) or private cloud deployment (Private Cloud)
Bioinformatics IF: 5.8 Application system: HST-LIMS intelligent tracking system
Application of intelligent LIMS system in standardized pipeline of extra-large high-throughput sequencing center
Research background: Sequencing centers that produce hundreds of thousands of samples per year are prone to sample cross-labeling confusion and experimental errors if they lack an automated tracking system.
Project plan: The HST-LIMS control system is introduced to fully take over the entire process of the laboratory from receiving samples to disembarking data delivery. All operators and hardware equipment can trigger linkage by scanning codes.
Main results: Achieving paperless and digital full-process closed-loop control. The sample flow error rate was reduced to 0%. When an abnormality occurs, it can be accurately located to the specific batch and consumable hole location, achieving 100% audit tracking and successfully passing CAP international recognition.
